Salaams!
Its been a busy couple of weeks but I finally got my work posted on my Etsy store, alhamdulillah. Been working on some new ideas these past couple weeks.. so far I'm pretty happy with them and I think they might have a lot of potential.
Let's start off with some hijab pins..
The last one is an applique I picked up at a fabric store (which unfortunately closed this weekend..). I was able to fasten a pinback to it and make a brooch out of it. :) I have some more larger appliques, too that I'll incorporate into other jewelry. I love that they're so lightweight and versatile!
Now on to some necklaces.. I like working with solder, although its a bit tricky trying to balance everything, but I'm please with the results. I also kind of like incorporating keys into my work, and although I've usually thought them to be kind of cliche, the three I have below seem to be okay..
Also some bracelets.. the first one is a new idea I had last week.. I like how it turned out, and to be honest I haven't seen anything too similar to this yet. Please leave me some feedback and let me know what you think!
And finally, a few ornaments.. nothing fancy, but I had a few large beads lying around and they're too heavy for necklaces or bracelets..
These are also posted on my Etsy store and can be found under the 'Ornament' category.. I'm selling them either individually or as a set.
So that's about it for now.. I already have a few more pieces started and several ideas running through my head so as soon as they're completed I'll have them posted inshahAllah.
