Dua When Entering A Masjid

Made this sign for a wonderful brother at the masjid for him to take back to the Philippines. He took it upon himself to build a mosque on Ticao Island and subhan'Allah its just about finished. May Allah reward him greatly for all his effort and hard work. Jazakallah!

New Piece

Worked on a new piece this week.. a bit different from the regular calligraphy I've been doing.  I think it came out alright though.

Stone works

Asalaam alaikum! I finally have something new! This is my first attempt at working with stone. I'm pretty happy with it, alhamdulillah.

So I've definitely been busy this week, alhamdulillah.  I think my next project will be to attempt an entire Sura in Jali Diwani along with decoration. Not sure what medium I will be using yet though.. I've had that idea, and also another one involving stone. See what happens. :)

Commission!

Working on finalizing a commission for a local Islamic Center, inshahAllah. I have a sample piece that I'm working on now; hoping to get it done after Haystack next week!

(Bismillah (بسم الله) in Kufic style)

The commissioned piece will be about 2 x 3 feet and will have Arabic, English, and a decorative border, inshahAllah. I'm pretty excited to get started on it. :)

Starting something new

Recently I've started working as a ceramic artist creating my own designs with Islamic influences. For now I'm working on necklaces but hope to expand my line in the future, inshahAllah.
